how can i format number field when user click on the field it should be like
###-###-### (like phone numbers field ) to obligate the users for put number like this

Did you checked number formats on system settings form

Goto Setup → System Settings → Number Formats

actualy i have a field called authorzation number , i need that field be formated like this
3digitshere - 3digits here - 4 digits here
i mean by formatting is i want it shows 3 free spaces and hyphens by default in field

There is no such feature available, so you have to put the value manually
