Frappe App Compatibility for Self-hosted

Hello,

I’m new to Frappe in general and wanting to setup a local self hosted instance of ERPNext and several other apps.

While reading how to do this, I’ve come across comments that the right versions of each app need to be installed to ensure compatibility with the rest. However, I’m unsure where to find this information for the suit of apps that I want to install.

Where can the app compatibility be found, considering the suite that I want to setup includes the below list?

  • ERPNext
  • HR
  • CRM
  • Insights
  • Helpdesk
  • Learning
  • Lending
  • Education
  • Payments
  • Builder
  • Drive
  • Wiki

Hopefully I’ve asked the “right question” :wink:

Generally v15 will not work with v16 so look at each app’s github where there is guidance

Thanks for the reply.

I’ve looked through each apps Github and some of them do have compatibility tables, but several of them don’t, e.g. Wiki which has branches version-13 & version-14, as well as a main branch, but no version-15 branch.

I guess some of this is trial and error?
