FRAPPE ERP Finance Employee Advances configuration

Dear All,

We want to setup the Employee Advances account in ERP Next, and it should be- Parent Account be Current Assets, Account type should be Receivable but the system does not show Employees rather only displays Customers in Party Type. What is te way forwarrd/

Select Receivables.

Can you look for Party Type List in the search bar. Employee should be there

HI asif, thanks for reply but if we change the employee settings as Receivables, it will have impact on Salary payment transactions/entries. How to use Employee as both Receivable and Payable for Employee Advance and Salary Payable entries without effecting the entries?

Perhaps consider a negative amount (debit balance) in a payable suitable as an asset.
