Hello everyone! I want to develop a complex app and I want to know what are the good practices in Frappe. I mean, The first step is to make the domain Doctypes and make all the logic between them or make 1 doctype and after that go to make the frontend and so on. What do you think?
Explore, test, configure, import your data, test more, read code and configure some more, and start to build if needed, and step by step you’ll understand what you need to do to fit everything to your use case(s). Work to fit it to your legal environment (accounting, taxes).
Get used early to backups and weekly updating, and to things changing.
Use the documentation, the videos of frappe.school and buildwithhussain, and others.
There is a lot of frontend already available out of the box. Maybe you only need some theming / CSS hooks. If configuration etc. is not enough, build app(s).
Depending on your career desires and means, you could choose to get certified and into the partner program.
