Now we need to build ERPNext Help Desk.
Breaking out an excellent Help Desk component to a unique app seems like a step backwards.

If I’m already using ERPNext and want a high quality Help Desk, I have to create two siloed applications. I used to use “having too many siloed applications” as a reason for a potential client to move to ERPNext. Now it seems Frappe is going backwards to siloed applications and double data entry.

Looks like forking frappe helpdesk is in my future.
How much work would it be to refactor frappe helpdesk to use the same DB as ERPNext along with changing HD_customer and HD_contact to use the core Customer and Contact tables in ERPNext?
