Hey everyone! Thanks to those who attended the webinar yesterday and contributed with questions and discussions.
Back in 2021, we were looking for an LMS for our internal use. Moodle is an open source LMS and is already quite popular. So naturally, it was the first option we considered. But from our experience, it lacks in UI and UX. After giving things some thought, we decided to make our own learning system.
We first started with our own requirements but eventually the vision changed to make it a product. Since then we’ve kept all the flows generic enough for all organizations to use.
Today not just Frappe School but so many other organizations have online courses and batches conducted through Frappe Learning. The app has come a long way.
But in all honesty, I know we are still not there. Moodle is feature rich. It can support all your requirements for a learning system.
The vision for Frappe Learning now is to have all the features that anyone would want from a learning system, but with a much better user experience. It should be a delight to use such systems and should not feel cumbersome at all.
Here is where I would need your inputs. What are key feature that you use in Moodle (or any other learning system like Google Classroom) that is missing in Frappe Learning?
Based on your responses I’ll try to make a plan and prioritize accordingly.
