I’ve been following ERPNext and the Frappe ecosystem closely and have some questions about its future direction:

  1. Monolithic vs. Modular Architecture: ERPNext has traditionally been an all-in-one ERP solution. Recently, there seems to be a shift towards modular apps like CRM, HRMS, and Helpdesk. What is the reasoning behind this transition?
  2. Integration Between Apps: With separate apps, how will Frappe ensure smooth integration? Will modules like CRM work seamlessly with ERPNext, or operate more independently?
  3. Documentation and Learning Resources: ERPNext’s documentation is helpful but sometimes limited. Are there plans to expand learning resources, particularly for Frappe Website Builder, client scripts, and data scripts?
  4. Long-Term Vision and Roadmap: Understanding ERPNext’s long-term vision is important for contributors. Can the community or core team share insights into the roadmap and strategic direction?
