German translation

Hi,

in line 252 of "//erpnext/translations/de.csv" there's a sentence called "Allocate leaves for the year.". What does it mean in that context?

Greetings
Lukas Wagner

Leave Allocation Tool lets you allocate leaves for the year to a certain set of employees.

Select params like Employee Type, Branch, Department, Fiscal Year, Leave Type etc. and set New Leave Allocated. The employees matching these criteria will get allocated these new leaves.

Thanks,
Anand.

Hi,

another question: There are texts like "Applicable To (Designation)". Are the words in brackets control codes recognized by ERPNext as control codes to be replaced by something or is that markdown?

Thanks in advance

Hi again,

another thing: there's sentences like "Are you sure you want to STOP " and I am sure there's something that comes after that.
In German I have a problem with word order at that place (and I'm sure this is a problem in other languages, too).
Better was: "Are you sure you want to STOP '%s'?" so I can translate it with "Sind Sie sicher, dass Sie '%s' BEENDEN möchten?"
There are a view more sentences where I have a problem with word order because there seems to be something missing and the anly explanation I have is that there must be something that comes afterwards.
I vote hereby for making it a convention to use the '%s' notation even if the reference value is at the end in english.
Should I make this an Issue and specify the sentences?

Thanks in advance
Lukas

Hi Lukas,

Please raise this as an issue on github. The problem we need to figure out is how to make google translate ignore %s or replace %s with a character that google translate ignores. We use google translate for initial translations.

Thanks,
Anand.
