I followed the instructions at Google Settings and could not connect ERPNext to Google because of the error “redirect_uri_mismatch”. After a little reverse engineering I found a solution. The Authorized Forwarding URI must be https://{yoursite}?frappe.integrations.doctype.google_contacts.authorize_access (additionally ?).
Maybe it will help someone else and the documentation could be updated as well.
