Grouping product variants stock

Hey guys, I’m new to ERPNext, but I’ve been looking for an answer to this but I couldn’t find one so far …

I have a product set as with variants (ie: T-Shirt). If I create stock for each variant (such as S, M, L and XL), the only way to find out the stock of my T-shirt item is to manually add up all the variants, instead of having all the stocks on each variant AND the stock of the “template” or parent item.

Is there a way to accomplish that?

Thanks for this feature suggestion. For now, stock balance reports doesn’t cover template item. Cab you please create a Github Issue for this feature suggestion?
