Having Issue with role permission

I am having trouble setting the permission for a user. I have given Read, Write and Create Access for the role on Doctype-> User, Invoice and a custom doctype. Still I’m getting error, User Do Not Have Document Access and Insufficient Permission for Sales Invoice . Any help

You can try:
Go to Doctype List → Your custom doctype → add permission rules to it.

Solved. Was getting that error because of workflow’s state

I was having issue with the workflow state which was contradicting with the same. Once I got the right path, it worked like charm

This did resolve the issue on permissions.
