In the manual, The Setup Pharmacy section talks about custom fields added to Item doctype for managing drug specifications. I have setup version-12 healthcare erpnext instance and the above said customization are not present. Is this still supported? Am I in need of any extra configurations ?

I don’t see these customization in v13 as well on configuration of healthcare. Any information on this?
I face the same issue , healthcare domain checked but no drug specifications in item master even I did bench reinstall .

We are adding a Medication doctype which will wrap stock Item for holding medication specific details. Will also update the documentation to reflect this, sorry for the confusion.
In version 12 the fields are missing, but I think you can add custom fields as required.
