Is there any way to get an XLS dump (or even a CSV file) of all time logs entered in our database? No particular formatting necessary, just a plain listing. We’re still in the process of aligning jobs to hours/cost centers/employee rates etc and need to do a manual accounting of all hours since January of '13. I tried to batch them all together with no luck…

Thank you for the reply, and apologies for the delay in mine; I've got a newborn at home and she's been taking me away from work in large chunks...
It's probably staring me in the face, but when I'm in the list view I can't locate an export button… I've attached a screenshot to show you what I'm seeing. Am I missing something obvious, or has sleep deprivation finally taken over?

You are almost there. Just to the left of the close button of the list view, there are 3 buttons. The last of them is the report view button. Go to the report view, select the desired columns and export.
Thanks
Anand.

Thanks, Anand.. I can't wait until she's a bit older and can push a lawnmower :/
Okay, I feel a bit silly here, but:
From Projects I enter the Time Log List; I've now got three icons/buttons to the left of the 'close' button (mousing over them shows form / list / calendar). I assume that since 'list' is black, it's the selected view.. but no report view button that I can see. Again, my brain is admittedly at reduced capacity, but I'm not seeing it. Is it possible I've inadvertently removed it via the permission manager or some granular property I've previously changed?

To export data from the system, you need "System Manager" role. And another thing, download option is only available in reporp view, not in default listview.

The export button is in the Report View not listview.
It seems you have removed "Report" permissions for yourself. Go to permissions manager, select Time Log and check "Report" for your role.
Then refresh and you will see a "Report" icon in the list view toolbar. Click on that and you will get the export button.
best,
Rushabh
ps. Congrats on the new born :)

Ah, okay .. makes sense now. There's another admin who has been working in the system while I've been out, so I'm going to blame him. I had a feeling it was something permissions-related. I'll go in and reset the Report permissions to the default.
Thanks again to both of you for your time & patience.
