Hide certain BoM from certain users

Hi guys,
I'm just wondering if it's possible to hide certain BoM from certain users.
For example:

I have a bakery and I have my bread recipe where I don't want any of my staff know the ingredients except me and my brother (co-owner).

Is it possible to hide the recipe from everyone else?
Unfortunately there are other staff that needs access to BoM and Production Order (to produce other products)

Hello Andri,

User will need atleast read permission for BOM, as it will be needed for making production related entries. But you can hide just the BOM Item table of Bill of Material from users.

You can achieve this by changing Perm Level of BOM Item table. Please check following link to understand that Perm Level means and how you can use it for restricting user from specific field/table in ERPNext. You can change Perm Level for BOM Item from Customize Form.

By default, BOM Item table has Perm Level 0. If you change it to 1, It will be hidden from all the users. From Permission Manager, you can assign access for field at Perm Level 1 to specific roles. With this, it will be visible one set of users and hidden from others.
