Salary Components already has 2 important features:
1. Is Statistical Component - Hides, and excludes component from calculations and final payslip
2. Do not include in total - Excludes component from calculations
For added utility and flexibility it’d be wise to also have another field:
3. Hide on Payslip - Include in calculations (for company accounting purposes), hide on payslip. Combined with No. 2. It’d be like No. 1 but still effective after Payslip is submitted.
This would be important for many cases. One particular case is when the Employer needs to Contribute towards an Employee’s Social Security payment as is mandated in some countries.
Please advise if this can be done better.
