How can i change or remove the UOM in Item creation (Default unit of measurment)

I don’t want Nos by default there while creating an Item, is it possible by default there is nothing selected in Default unit of Measure

Please remove Default Stock UOM from Stock Settings

Please check it.

Then reload (Ctrl + Shift + R) and check it.
