Hi everyone, i have already set the user role profile and module profile , but when i login my user account, the dashboard still show the unused workspace. i checked all user permissions and role permission, i did not set wrong, how can i hide the unused workspace or module in ERPNext 15?
I did setting, but still show some other’s modules content in user’s dashboard, i checked the user permission too…
like my screenshot, show the quick access and reports&masters content, is it bug of ERPNext 15? can i fix it?
To hide a workspace for everyone, just remove all roles so only the Administrator can see it, and it will not appear for the rest of the users. Or else, you can add the desired role if needed.
- Navigate to the awesome bar and search “Workspace List”
- Click on desired workspace name
- Locate the Role Tab
- Remove all the roles as shown in picture below.

Sir, i knew this function, maybe my describe my problem not clear. when i divide different user, i forbidden some user to use the sales dashboard or module, but his account can see the module in dashboard, not full module function, like contact and address, not completely hide the module, not like that i hide the build or integrations module, the user can not see the modules.

The user access controls are defined within user for modules profiling and then editing public workspaces can also be controlled globally by having workspace manager role.
The further advance level controls for a dashboard, page, doctype or report can be applied by using Role Permission Manager. if not yet satisfied, user permission is the last resort.
