How can you define different tax slabs?

  1. You can create different account heads in chart of accounts.
  2. Against each tax head, tax rate can be defined.

Also, tax detail can be saved for each item also, which get pulled
which making transaction for that item.

Can we also have a tax by customer/ship to? Here, the tax rate is
based on the province that we are shipping to.

Hi,

We have rates by item, not by customer at the moment. You would have to select your tax head manually for the customer based on the shipping address.

Thanks for your fast reply. Is this on the roadmap for the future? I guess it could default to the most common one and we could override, depending on where the shipment is going. Can you have multiple tax heads with different rate combinations? I guess we would have to test it out for Canada. I am just starting to investigate this solution, but there are a lot of interesting features.

Dear Fred

Thanks for your interest!

The time-sheet + billing is on the roadmap. Customer-wise tax is something we are looking at, but we have not put it in our roadmap yet.

Currently we are working on a project that will make our software more Open Source friendly so that people can download and set it up easily.

I see that you have great experience in working with such solutions. We would be very glad to help you out setup for your customers and your feedback is also very valuable!

cheers,
Rushabh

I look forward to the open source friendly version. In the mean time, I just discovered the system, and am just starting to explore the videos and the demo. So far I see a lot of potential here.
