Hello,
Is there a spot that shows which of the Frappe supported Applications stable releases are. Have to look at branches and hope I am looking at the right one normally with version-x listed but is there a spot that just tells me the versions of software and the latest or the versions they work with? Cheers
A long time ago, this was plainly visible.
I agree with you that today, this information is not clearly called out.
To answer your question, Frappe Framework and ERPNext are currently using git branch “version-15”. This branch always points at the latest Minor and Patch version.
For example, at the time I’m writing this, Frappe branch “version-15” is associated with version 15.65.2.

Yes I figured it out for ERPNext, Thankfully. But my main issue is that all the other frappe apps I have to also dig and hopefully i find the correct branch, even those can be out of order like one of them version-14 is the highest yet Version-13 is higher on the list etc. or some are not versioned yet and some it seems like the main branch is actually the official release. I was just hoping for a maintained list somewhere.
@brian_pond thank you for confirming there really isnt at the moment and thats fine, I am getting a good eco system for free I shouldnt complain hahah.
Don’t think of it as complaining, but rather pointing out areas for improvement. Or adding some thoughtful, constructive criticism. Just because it’s free doesn’t mean there aren’t flaws or mistakes. As with every software/project, there are always opportunities to become better. If no one mentions them, just because it’s open-source, then those ideas and suggestions are lost.
As forum users, we just need to strive to be professional and write in ways that aren’t a demand or personal attack.
I agree with you: it would be helpful if the current, active branches for all the products were clearly documented.
Well when I figure out what the versions for the software I am installing I will put a list on this thread.
By digging into the repos and looking at tags I have deduced the following branches for the software are the current release branches:
- HRMS : version-15
- CRM: main
- Drive: main
- Helpdesk: version-14
- LMS: main
- Print Designer: main
- Wiki: version-14
any used as “main” probably wont become incorrect even with future versions.
