I would like to know how gross profit report works, My stock setting is FIFO, the issue is, it is showing negative values or negative gross profit percentage for a no. of items. For eg. a item have buying price is Rs. 120 and selling price is Rs. 180,
I checked the demo of erpnext their is a item Blade rib it is also showing negative gross profit value.
Is their any report available by which I can calculate my daily profit value from sale?

I have checked in demo.frappecloud.com, the negative gross profit is correct for item Blade Rib. As in that case Purchase price (actually landed cost) is greater than selling price.
For daily profit value, you can check “Gross Profit only, using date filters.
