https://docs.erpnext.com/docs/user/manual/en/track-items-using-barcode suggests that a smartphone can be used to scan a barcode and on a mobile device the camera icon appears next to a barcode input field. I’ve tried it using the web interface on my android phone and no icon appears. Is there a setting that I should set somewhere to enable this?
Thanks NCP - I’ve now found that. I was looking in inventory creation to scan a barcode to add it to an item master. Can this be done?
