How to add a new column to main report

I would like to add a new column to a report stock balance. Could anyone please explain to me where i can do this? Thank you

In ERPNext, to Add a new column in report, you may pick a new column.

Open respective document >> Click on report (Left top) >> Pick column from Menu (Top right before Refresh)

Thank you for replying @sunilsrikumar. I understand you can do that in standard reports. I cannot see such an option in the main reports such Stock balance report etc.

@Mute check the script report files you can add new column there. but then you have to do coding to populate respective value in that column.
