How to add an item group

Hi,

I always try to add a group item but when I open the window I find nothing and I can not add a new group!

Item Group creation is working well at our end.

It might be the cross browser issue. Please access our system in Chrome or Firefox.

Is there any error message in the browser's javascript console? Did you deleted default root item group?

It is very difficult to identify the exact issue without checking into data and codebase, as we can't replicate it at our end. You should try to debug using console.log() in sales_browser.js file.

Or, you check the output of this query from mysql (lib/wnf.py --mysql):

select name, parent_item_group from `tabItem Group`

In this query, except one record, all records should have a parent_item_group.

The root records, ie. All Item Groups should have parent_item_group as NULL.

Hi.

You can use console.log function to print values at different points in sales_browser.js, especially in the click function specified in the init method of erpnext.SalesChart.

Once you make changes, you will have to use Tools > Clear Cache & Refresh for changes in the file to take effect.
