How to Add Custom Field to Chart of Accounts' New Account Dialog

Hi,

I have added a new custom field “Account Desc” to the Account DocType Form. But now when I go to the chart of accounts, the new account dialog box doesn’t include this custom field. How can I extend erpnext to include it?

@morrismwaura I am afraid that is not configurable out of the box. you will have to open the document and add the description.
