How to add manual string on Quotation Item under Quotation screen

Item code it’s working good, if you search item code / add new item, BUT….

Some case :** If customer they want to add on manual message, add on quantity and save.**

and don’t want to add on new item code first.

How can change on the code or turn ON / OFF some options for support on this ?

I found some solution, add column and add on item name & description instead, if want to add string information.
