How to apply CESS percentage additional to GST ( ERP v15 )

We are using ERP on frappe cloud and india compliance module.
Have gone through the setting up item tax template with 3 tax rows ( CGST+SGST+CESS) . Mapped it to an item under tax tab. However when i create a sales invoice and add this item, CESS is not getting applies automatically.

How does your Sales Taxes and Charges template look like? Do you have a cess account in there?

This is how it works at transaction level.

  • Accounts are selected as per Sales Taxes and Charges
  • Default tax rate is as per Sales Taxes and Charges
  • Item tax rate is overridden from Item Tax Template
