How to buy a service?

Hello,

I need to create a Purchase Receipt to pay to the Post Office for sending a parcel.

I imagine I need to create the item first, right? But this is a service and I don’t see any “service” flag in the Item’s Purchasing section. Although that flag is present in the Sales section. Is it enough to simply disable the “Maintain stock” flag?

Or is there a better way to achieve this?
