Where do I define how salary taxes are calculated? I was hoping when I define Deduction Types there would be some way to tell how each deduction is calculated when the salary slips are generated, but nothing - this is just a description. I understand that in Salary Structure I can input manually what e.g. Income Tax amounts to, but that would require that each salary slip is calculated off-line and then input manually every month if employees' salaries change. Is there a way to input e.g. Basic Pay for each employee and then have the deductions, taxes and surcharges calculated automatically?
If the answer to this is a script of some sort, please point out to one example. I am new to erpnext and don't understand how scripts work.
