We have a pharmaceutical manufacturing company where BOMs are set up with Track Semi-Finished Goods.
Sometimes during production, the gel produced in the first stage is rejected by QC and the entire batch becomes scrap/waste.
In this scenario, how should we properly close the Job Card?
The raw materials have already been consumed and their cost needs to be charged to the scrap.
Currently, the Job Card doesn’t allow saving with Completed Quantity = 0 while entering Actual Time. I’m forced to enter 1 and then delete the production row in the Manufacture Stock Entry, which doesn’t feel like the correct process.
Any advice would be appreciated.
