How to customize the search fields in Customer Form

Hi,
I am currently customizing ERPNext for a retail business and I am trying to figure out how to change the search fields in the Customer form:

I have changed the respective search field entries to search only via: customer_name,mobile_no,primary_address

However, the Customer list does not update with those fields.

I am trying to achieve that the “Customer Group” and “Territory” search fields to be replaced by “Mobile number” and “Email address”.

Also, if anyone knows how to enable searching by “mobile number” in the global search - that would also be very helpful.

In Customize form, you can edit individual doctype field. Select/unselct “in standard filter” and “in global search”. Check this Here
