How to define a BS?

While I am creating formula and condition while creating salary structure , I am getting the error message that TO DEFINE THE BS .

Please check thisi out.

Abbreviations appear to be case sensitive. In my case I define Basic Salary (abb. BS) as base/12. However if I use bs and not BS in say the tax calc that I also get bs undefined.

I got to know this . It was exactly the same issue which you explained .
