What do you mean by editing? Adding a new status or simply changing the status?

Yes We need to add new status. There is only 3 options available .Please anyone suggest how to add new status.

You can customize status using property setter, including desired options for your select field.
Anyway, note that existing options are now being used in some code pieces along ERPNext, so changes over statuses could result in unexpected behavior.
