How to handles packages with BOM

Hello,
We have restaurants chain with central production Kitchen,
We buy raw materials ( Recipe ingredients) with different packages (1KG, 750Grams, 10Kg…etc), other raw materials (vegetable) come in different size of boxes, also other small ingredients like Salt.
what’s the best practice to define items, whats the best practice to define BOM of the Product item

You can either configure multiple UOMs for your raw material, or use make an “unpack” entry to convert your packages to raw materials.

If you have standard package sizes, UOM conversion should work.
