How to hide boxes in a module/card

Hi

ERPNext: v12.28.0 (version-12)
Frappe Framework: v12.25.0 (version-12)

I know how to hide modules/cards e.g. Education , Manufacturing etc based on
role-permissions.

But my question relates to the items within a module e.g. within Education, we have…
Student , Admission , Attendance … al the way to Other Reports.

I understand I can control access to these documents but is there a way to hide the
sub-modules/docs so that they are not visible at all, based on roll permissions?

@johnlongland you can set permission of a single doctype . open customize form , enter your doctype . hit actions → set permissions
