Product Info:
We manufacture offsets, which are a type of box typically used for packing items like sarees, clothes, or other products. These boxes consist of two parts: the top and the bottom. The top part usually features branding, while the bottom is plain.
We are planning to implement this process in ERPNext.
The final product is a box that consists of two parts: the bottom and the top. We manufacture the bottom and top separately, using different materials and slightly different processes.
Top Manufacturing Process:
- Purchase raw material (Paper sheet)
- Stock transfer to subcontractor
- Dye the paper sheet (Subcontracted)
- After the dyeing/printing process, send it back to our manufacturing factory
- Laminate the sheet
- Cutting process
- Packing
Bottom Manufacturing Process:
- Purchase raw material (Paper sheet)
- Stock transfer to subcontractor
- Dye the paper sheet (Subcontracted) - If additional processes are required, they are subcontracted
- Cutting process
- Packing
How can we achieve these processes using a Bill of Materials (BOM) in ERPNext?
