How to Implement Global Search In New App

Hello, the “Awesome Bar” in ERPNext seems very handy. Is it possible to add it to other apps like the new CRM (GitHub - frappe/crm: Fully featured, open source CRM)? I had a look through the developer docs here but couldn’t find a reference to it. https://frappeframework.com/docs

Hi there,

I haven’t tested it too much, but in v14 there’s a settings page called “Global Search Settings”. You can add whatever doctypes you want there and it should index them.

I believe there’s also a way to do it via hooks in your own app.
