It can be challenging to implement a custom app and override the toggle bar to include specific logic for redirecting when clicking on any doctype.
My suggestion is to consider creating a new workspace and adding the desired shortcut. This approach is simpler and more user-friendly. Why complicate things by creating a custom solution when utilizing workspaces and shortcuts provides an easier alternative?
