How to Install & Use Summit (E-commerce) with ERPNext

I came across Summit, an open-source headless e-commerce platform built on Next.js that integrates with ERPNext.

I’d like to know:

  1. What’s the recommended way to install and configure Summit with ERPNext?
  2. How do we properly set up the Summit-API app in ERPNext?
  3. Are there any detailed docs for configuring the environment variables, themes, and connecting Summit to ERPNext?
  4. Has anyone here successfully implemented it for production—any best practices to share?

My goal is to use Summit as the storefront while keeping ERPNext as the backend for operations.
