How to limit the permission field level based on child table?

Hi,

I am facing a problem that I want to limit the permission to edit the field in sales tax and charges table in the sales invoice.

Basically I want that the users cannot edit the field “Is this Tax included”, but I am unable to find a way to do the same. Can any one help me with this?

Did you try setting higher permlevel for that field?

Well I did…but I was doing it in “Sales Tax and Charges Master” and not on the sub-table of Sales Tax.

Did that and now its working…Silly mistake at my end.
