How to make a file downloadable

Hi,

I am making a webpage where a user can download a pdf file. I have used the filemanager to upload that file. The file shows up as private in Erpnext. Is there a way to change it to public so that I can publish it on the webpage?

While uploading a file, after you have selected a file to be uploaded there will be a check box “Private” checked by default. Un-check it to make the file public.

Thanks for explaining. I noticed that you can’t change the private setting after a file is uploaded.
Anyway it works for me… Thanks
