How to migrate running sites to different bench?

Hello,

I have read on bench backup and bench restore yet it seems not exactly what I’m looking for, hope experienced folks right here assist with highlights and recommendations on the below scenario.

I have already v12 stack running multiple sites on such VPS.
Now; I have another VPS running v13 stack.

I’m looking for somehow backup the sites (NOT the entire bench) and restore it or migrate its data into v13 stack.

It desn’t matter about the files, I’m interested only about the data records, i.e. items, customers, invoices etc.

@yaleellee bench backup and bench restore is exactly what you looking for .
backup and restore will move your database to the second server . (not the files or the apps) . later run a bench migrate to rebuild and patch the database since you are changing the version .
