How to prevent sales users from accessing Financial statements?

Is there a way to prevent sales users from accessing the Financial statements or I have to do that from the code ?

Hi HF,

We will do it from our end by today.

However, there is a new update in erpnext, which is a bit difficult to implement as it requires a directory structure change. You will need to get this update first.

Thanks,
Anand.

Hi HF,

We have fixed the permissions in many such pages including Financial Statements.

You will need to update your system to the latest version. The directory structure has been changed and hence you will need to follow the steps mentioned here: https://github.com/webnotes/erpnext/wiki/How-to-Install-ERPNext

You will also need to install memcached and python-memcached.

You can plan to upgrade at a suitable time so that we can be respond quickly if issues arise. (Ryan faced a lot of problems, as the instruction steps were missing a few directions. We have updated them.)

Thanks,
Anand.
