How to prevent Un-collapsed Section Break to be Collapsed on Save/ Refresh event while keeping collapsible on

I have many section breaks in my form, with collapsible on for every section break. But every time I click save all the extended(un-collapsed) section got collapse and need to go all the way to the last edited field position of the form where I was.
I want to keep stay where I was editing even I click save.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

This might unfortunately require a core framework change within Frappe, but it would be a usability improvement. That’s always been a quirky UI characteristic. Unless somebody has some suggestions on a custom script that would work system-wide?

With the move now towards a tab-based interface, I’m not sure how much effort they will put into improving the collapsible section breaks. But it would be nice!

Find this function, and then change the code to:

let collapse = section.collapse_link[0].classList.contains("collapsed");
