How to remove search bar in Desktop?

Hi all, I am trying to remove search bar from showing in desktop, how do I do it? Tried with custom app and js and css but nothing works.

You can disable the display of the search bar under a user in their settings.

In the sidebar, the whole thing works as intended, but there seems to be a visual bug at the moment so that the search field is still displayed in the desk.

However, the functionality behind it is disabled, so you can no longer click on it if you disable it in the settings.

Thank you for your help, yes I did just that and functionally it is disabled, but I’m trying to clean up UI as to prepare it for shop floor kiosk use. Then I’ll wait for the patch to visually remove it.
