How to restrict reports data based on company

Hi,
I have created 2 companies Company A and Company B . I have also set User permission, all doctypes show data based on the company but in reports, it is not reflecting for example sales register report.
Reports show data from both companies.

I tested with different users from different companies, but we haven’t found the issue in the latest version, 15.

@NCP please check the screenshots, for one user it is showing correctly for another user it is showing all records.

Ok, now I understand what you mean, there company filter is not mandatory, so if you remove the company filter, all records are visible there. So it’s a bug. I think company filter should be mandatory there.

@NCP but how it is working for another User ID?

Log in with both user and remove the company filter.

@NCP yes, I have logged in with both users for one user it showing data for Aligarh but for the second it is showing data for both companies.

@NCP can you confirm if you have set anything in the Default Company List?
