How to send email notification to Sales Manager when a Sales Order or Sales Invoice is created?

I am searching for a way to automatically send email to concerned persons when a new doctype is created or modified.

I want to implement is facility in Sales. So how to send email notification to Sales Manager and System User when a Sales Order or Sales Invoice is created?
