How to set automatic overdue status in project-tasks when assigned to a persson?

I need help on how to mark overdue status in tasks in projects when i assigned it to someone with completion date.

Once the assigned date is gone or due, it can automatically change to overdue and the concerned/assigned person gets notification of delivery date has overdue.

give expected end date it will change status to overdue automatically after that date
