How to set cost center as non-mandatory

I need to change cost center in sales invoice item as non-mandatory
1.i have not set any default cost center in company .because if i have set default cost center it will automatically fetch into sales invoice .
2.i coded a script to change the mandatory property of cost center in sales invoice item table

but sales invoice showing pop up as ‘value missing in cost center’

how can i change ?

Yes you can go to customize form and search for sales invoice and search for cost_centre and you can remove cost_center from mandatory to non-mandatory

No , i have tried from customize form and also tried by changing property of the filed. and it will show as non-mandatory but while saving it is showing value missing error

after updating in customize form please try to build the bench again.
