How to show only specific categories on website

I know this is an old topic however…

Exclude Items from search on website
A. Only Items that have been promoted to a Website Item should be visible on the website/search
B. I haven’t seen an option to have both a website item but not searchable

Specific Categories on website

  1. Search for Item Group Tree
  2. Select a parent or child group from the list
  3. Scroll down to find the Website settings and adjust settings
