need help regarding this…? we need to include two kinds of deductions in the payroll
- Telephone expenses: they vary. depending on usage.
- meal allowance: same as telephone expenses.
how can I update these two in the system . is there any tool update bulk for salary components?
You will first have to create the deduction components under salary component.
Once the components are created, next step is to update the structure. If you have multiple salary structures, then you can use data import for bulk creation.
Last would be assigning the newly created structure to everyone through Salary Structure Assignment. Here again, you’d have to use data import for processing in bulk.
